Overview
We set sail from Hotel del Paine located in Villa Serrano, Torres del Paine.” We navigate the Serrano River in fast boats. This is fed by the melting of the Gray, Tyndall, Geike, and Balmaceda glaciers. After about 40 minutes of navigation we arrive at the Serrano River waterfall and where we must leave the boat to walk through the native forest for about 15 minutes until we find the second boat, We go to the Tyndall Glacier viewpoint (which is part of the Southern Ice Field) and then reach Bernardo O'Higgins National Park. Where we will take a walk of about 30 minutes to reach the Serrano Glacier lagoon at the foot of Mount Balmaceda. We will have a small snack and return upstream, to enjoy a filling lunch at Hotel del Paine.
