What To Expect
Are you in Santoña? So, you can't leave the Cantabrian town without exploring its most famous product, anchovies!
Entering the canning factory, and guided by an expert, we will learn all the ins and outs of Santoña anchovies. From their capture, through the salting process, filleting and removal of bones, we will witness the entire journey that anchovies follow until they reach their status as a culinary delight.
During a 30-minute visit, we will explore all the facilities and also become familiar with the anchovy conservation process. To round out the experience, we will enjoy a tasting of anchovies accompanied by a glass of wine. The perfect touch to end the guided tour!
At the end, we will say goodbye at the entrance of the factory and the excursion will end. You will become true connoisseurs of Cantabrian anchovies!
