Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine
Worship at shrines, the cultural starting point of Kamakura, the capital of the Samurai A very historic place, the shrine was moved to Kamakura by Minamoto no Yoritomo, the leader of the Shogunate who destroyed one of the two major factions that existed in Japan in the 12th century, in order to worship the god of military fortune.
