Napa Valley is one of the world’s famous viticultural districts and well known for its famed Cabernet Sauvignon. About 400 wineries speck the fruitful soils of this valley. The latest addition is the soon-to-be-launched beer train in Napa Valley. Visitors can hop on the Hop Train Beginning on June 18 and enjoy the excursion to California wine country for the Napa Valley Wine Train’s newest addition.
The official Hop Train website says “We’re putting beer before Bordeaux and cans before corks. Guests are welcomed to Join the beer guys in wine country – the Napa Palisades Beer Company – for a Wine Train takeover.”
Hop aboard the beer train in Napa Valley
All onboard the train will witness the most interesting way to immerse oneself in Napa Valley’s wonderful scenery and best wines. Every Monday night, visitors are welcomed to join the brewing company on an unforgettable two-hour train ride in an open car through the lush landscape of Napa Valley. The journey includes local craft beer and some yummy food to munch on.
The highlights include quirky cocktails, wine (obviously!), whiskey, old school atmosphere, an open-air porch, and gourmet pub grub. They also have signature brews such as:
1849 Gold Rush Red– American style with a smooth mouthfeel that is marginally dry; made with caramel, honey, and smoke. ABV 5.7% IBU 24. Made with Chinook Hops.
Loco IPA– This brew is a citrus-filled tropical IPA with a splendid mouthfeel that leads to completion with a tinge of bitterness. Made with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo + Centennial Hops.
Little Loco Session IPA– Light and fresh, with a somewhat intense citrus taste that finishes with a trace of pine. ABV 5.3% IBU 52. Also made with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo + Centennial Hops.
The train leaves at 6 pm and arrives at 8 pm. The boarding time is 15 minutes prior to departure and visitors are requested to check-in by 5:30 pm.
