Brief information on the locations you will visit during the trip:
- Charminar (four minarets) is an iconic monument of Hyderabad built in the year 1591, it’s a mosque and a recognized structure of India.
- Ramoji film city was built in 1996 by Telugu film producer Ramoji Rao. Did you know that this is a Guinness world record holder for the largest studio complex in the world? It’s a tourism destination and includes an amusement park.
- Golkonda is a citadel and fort in Southern India and was the capital of the medieval sultanate of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. It is 11 kilometres to the west of Hyderabad. Golkonda is known for the mines where precious gems like the Kohinoor, the hope diamond and the Noor-ul-ain were extracted.
