Although he is still busy preparing for the Invictus Games 2018 which is going to be held in Sydney in October, he has already decided that the fifth games will take place in The Hague as it will mark 75 years since liberation in the European country.
“I am delighted to announce that the Hague is taking up the challenge of hosting the fifth Invictus Games in 2020,” he said. He additionally added that the city will soon become a source of motivation for injured armed services personnel and war veterans. “Participating in the Invictus Games will help their recovery from physical and mental injuries,” said Prince Harry on the Invictus Games official website.
He appreciated the support by the Netherlands from the very beginning and hopes that everyone at the Invictus will fully get behind and support the soldiers and veterans who have served their countries so bravely. It is assumed to be an incredible experience for everyone in the Hague just like it had been in London, Orlando, and Toronto.
