Travelling the world and getting paid to do that? Dream job, right? This dream of yours can come true with the summer internship offered by US travel website The Points Guy which will a paid summer intern to review flights, hotels, trains and more all around the world.
The website is now accepting applications from college students and recent graduates based out of the US. One lucky candidate will get a luxury, one-of-a-kind dream travel internship.
The candidate must be a current college student or have graduated in December 2018 or more recently. They must also be skilled at writing and at social media, with photography and video experience. A fun and energetic video presence and basic design knowledge would be considered as an advantage.

Applicants also must be 21 or older and they to taste and review alcoholic drinks, and “must be able to tell apart Cristal from Korbel [champagne], while blindfolded, or at least be willing to learn,” the job listing states. They will be required to share their travel experiences and reviews through a variety of social media posts.
According to The Points Guy website, “the Travel and Rewards Intern will get to rate some of the best in travel; such as first class on Emirates or Cathay Pacific. They will also get to stay at some of the world’s top hotels; from the Greek isles to ones at the heart of Singapore’s glistening skyline.”
But along with that the listing also mentions that “just to keep you down to earth, there will be occasional reviews of premium economy or dare we even say it, yes, coach.” However, as a bonus of sorts, the successful applicant will also get to keep the frequent flyer miles and hotel points they earn along the way; so that they can go on another dream vacation at a later date.
