Pasighat is said to be the oldest towns of Arunachal Pradesh. The village is famous for its rich history and is the perfect place for adventure activities with its cliffs, waterfalls, and hanging bridges. The local Adi tribe practices terrace farming that makes the nearby hills especially picturesque.
Mechuka
Nestled in the forested Mechuka Valley, the small town of Mechuka lies along the banks of the Yargyapchu River (also known as the River Siyom). Just a few hours away from Along, this town is famous for its scenic beauty, of gentle hills and snow-capped mountains. Also here is a fascinating 400-year-old Buddhist monastery with many ancient statues.
