Choose your luggage wisely
Depending upon how long is your trip, choose your luggage wisely. If you are planning to hike, please carry a backpack which has a detachable day pack with it. You can detach the daypack when needed and you are sorted.
Cover-up
Bali consists of many temples and a few other spiritual places where short dresses, shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed in. So keep a cover-up in your bag so that you can put on a jacket or a Sarong and later you can remove it later if you want to. Sarong has multiple usages. So make sure to carry one with you. It is light and easy to pack too.
Shoes
If you don’t wish to overpack, you should choose your shoes wisely. You might need different types of shoes in Bali. So include the following in your Bali packing list:

Flip Flop
Flip flops are the best when you are hitting the beach. They are easily washable and dry quickly. The best part is that they won’t take much space in your luggage as well.
