Windmills Craftworks, Whitefield
Another one of the best breweries in Bengaluru, Windmills Craftworks in Whitefield offers homebrew beers, a supreme-class jazz theatre and a vibrant atmosphere complemented by a handpicked collection of artsy books.
Try the Stout, Hefeweizen (a fruity beer with hints of clove and banana), Golden Ale and India Pale Ale which are served on a regular basis with special brews based on the occasion/season. Add Keema Pav, Pork Chops or Risotto and you’re good to go!
The Biere Club, Lavelle Road
Back in 2010, this microbrewery was the first to open in Bangalore. Located in the heart of the city, this brewpub serves an array of classic, flavoured and speciality beers. It has a typical pub-like ambience and usually offers five or six beers on tap at any given time. In addition to the wheat, stout, lager, and Belgian style ale, The Biere Club is well known for its specials.
Having experimented a lot, it has a few stand out specials that include beers brewed with strawberry & vanilla, lemon & chilli, bay leaf, mango, and even a beer made predominantly out of ragi, which is a locally grown millet. Don’t forget to try the Plank Pizzas here as they are perfect accompaniments with your bubbly!
The Whitefield Arms Pub, Mahadevapura
