We offer water, beer, our own La Leyenda Craft Beer, gatorade for kids, and fresh guacamole to enjoy right on the boat!
After your tour, feel free to relax on the beach and use our kayaks and paddle boards. Our area of beach is right alongside Hotel 40 Cañones, where you can enjoy a swim or a nap in a hammock.
Our family business focuses on sustainability and experiences that provide a lasting impression. We work hard to make sure our guests feel comfortable while creating a connection with the natural world. We also have over 40 years of experience in Mahahual!
We use Penn fishing equipment, a fish finder, and skirted ballyhoo to visit the areas with the highest probabilities for a great catch. We also use semi-professional snorkeling equipment to make sure guests are comfortable while snorkeling, which is crucial for a memorable experience.
Our experiences are provided in English and in Spanish in order to always provide clear, smooth communication.

You can find us at our booth right in front of Hotel 40 Cañones. If coming from the cruise port, you can take a taxi directly to Hotel 40 Cañones. Taxis charge 4 USD per person, and the ride is about 5 minutes.

What To Expect
Want to snorkel with fish and try to catch some, too? Join us for a Caribbean fishing and eco-snorkeling experience! Our trip offers three hours of coastal trolling and bottom fishing at depths of 60 to 150 meters. Trolling catches may include barracuda, mackerel, jacks, and, if we get lucky, wahoo, mahi, or sailfish. While bottom fishing, we may catch different types of snapper, including “huachinango” or red snapper, jacks, or even Caribbean reef sharks.
After fishing, we will enjoy one hour of snorkeling among the local flora and fauna of the Great Mesoamerican Reef, right here in Mahahual Costa Maya. The area is populated with many Caribbean fish and coral species (French and Gray Angelfish, Damselfish, Bluehead and Yellowhead Wrasse, Stoplight Parrotfish, Grunts, Puffers, and more). If we’re lucky, we may even see a spotted eagle ray or green sea turtles.
Fishing and snorkeling sites are chosen on the day of your trip based on weather and sea conditions to offer you the best possible experience.
We are strictly committed to sustainable fishing practices and low-impact tourism experiences on the great Mesoamerican reef system here in Mahahual, Quintana Roo.

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
