An ecotour guide will lead you on a private tour across the peaceful Japanese scenery around the Akame 48 Falls. You can experience enjoyment from hiking along a beautiful river valley towards the Akame 48 Falls, and then there relish the taste of your delicious bento.

After making your bento box you take it to the Akame 48 Falls - a famous sightseeing spot that attracts many visitors throughout the year. This is where you will settle down to enjoy your lunch and soak up the relaxing sounds of these waterfalls.
Akame town is an amazing place to experience Japan's amazing old culture. This tour will give you a great opportunity to comprehend this intriguing part of Japanese life that has been passed down for generations.
AKAMEGUCHI station, Kintetsu Railway [MeetingPoint] In front of ticket gate. Your guide will having a welcome board. Please arrive at Akameguchi station by between 9:00am to 9:30am. After booking, please provide your arrival time.
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
Our first stop will be an old traditional Japanese house. *Private Japanese cooking class with a local guide. *We will prepare a seasonal bento box. This house is a rental vacation house, renovated but the owner kept it in the traditional style.

Japan salamander center has reopened as an aquarium in April 2024. Based on the concept of "an aquarium connected to the nature of TheAkame48Falls," this huge aquarium is integrated with real waterfalls and the valley where special natural monuments live. The museum displays amphibians and eight kinds of moss that live in the valley.

Then we head to Akame 48 Falls. This area is famous for many things and one of the most interesting is that this was the birthplace of the famous Japanese ninjas! It takes about three hours to walk the complete trail there and back. We are NOT going to walk the full trail. We're going as far as the Nunobiki Falls. It will take about 25 minutes one way. If you want to go on the end of the trail, you can do so on your own. When you return to the start, you can take a bus or taxi back to Akameguchi station. This is a private tour so you can walk at your own pace.

Stroll through the Akame Komachi area. You can find local food or unique souvenirs. If we have time, we can visit Enju-in Temple (free admission) or Hot Spring (additional fee) in this area.
