Day 01: Bangalore to Halebidu/Belur: Morning pickup from your hotels and get driven to Belur and Halebidu. Arrive and check in hotel. Later visit: The Chennakeshava Temple in Belur, constructed in 1117 AD and has been built in an architectural style (Hoysala Style) which was new to the region. The monument is exceptionally large and its decoration is very lavish. The decorations for this temple still continued after the king by his various successors over a time period of nearly 103 years. Hoysaleswara Temple at Halebidu city portrays The height of Hoysalan art and architecture. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Also opposite to the temple is a big statue of Nandi. It took more than eighty years to construct partially and was left uncompleted. The temple is richly ornamented with most intricately carvings. Overnight at the hotel in Belur/Halebidu region.

Belur/Halebidu to Coorg

The river flows down inconspicuously as 'Guptagamini' from here before re-emerging a small distance downwards at Nagateerta. Cauvery's soulful journey starts unchecked from there where she would join the Kannike and Sujyoti rivers at the Triveni Sangama in Bhagamandala to flow further. Back to hotel.
