Kitsilano Beach, Vancouver
Arguably Canada’s best urban beach, backed by cool cafes and an attractive park Kitsilano exudes the spirit of a laid-back vibe. Also known as Kit’s beach, it’s a wide arc of sand fronting English Bay and here you can grab a beach towel, lean back, and enjoy the gorgeous view of the North Shore Mountains. Located on Georgian Bay, the beach is divided up into sections for easy navigation. Sections 1 and 2 are in town and hence livelier, with volleyball courts and a boardwalk. Sauble Beach, Ontario
Sauble Beach is one of Canada’s most historical beaches. Located in Ontario, this beach used to attract throngs of people in the 1960’s and 70’s and they used to drive onto the beach in their cars. At over seven miles long (11 km), Sauble Beach is said to be the second-longest freshwater beach in Canada after Wasaga Beach. A phenomenon of sandbar deposits building out along the Lake Huron shoreline keeps the water at Sauble very shallow and warm. Here you can have recreational activities like swimming, windsurfing, water-skiing, fishing, golfing, lawn bowling, tennis, street dances, beach volleyball, snowmobiling, cross-country, as well as skiing. Brackley Beach, PEI
Located just 20 minutes from Charlottetown, located within the PEI National Park is Brackley Beach. The beach is a part of a protected area that stretches from Rustico harbour to Brackley and continues west to Stanhope and Dalvay. There are six beaches in this area and Brackley beach is the most popular one. The beach area became a popular vacation spot in the late 19th century and its shoreline was designated as part of the national park in 1937. Okanagan Beach & Skaha Beach, Penticton British Columbia
