This 10-hour excursion starts along the international road of Bolivia and across the Valley of LLuta. You will see picturesque settlements of archaeological interest: LLuta´s Geographs, Poconchile village and its church of 17th Century, Ravine of Cardones and its 13 feet (4 m) high candelabrum cacti. The excursion begins taking the international road to Bolivia, entering the Lluta Valley. In order to reach the perfect place to appreciate nature and culture in all its dimensions. The tambo de Zapahuira is an archaeological complex located in the commune of Putre, belonging to the Region of Arica and Parinacota, in northern Chile. It is of Inca origin, and is composed of a row of adjacent rectangular enclosures, joined by small doors. At 150 m from the tambo there are two funerary chullpas, which are rectangular towers built in adobe. It has been declared a National Monument since 1983.

The Pucara de Copaquilla is a pre-Hispanic fortress located in the commune of Putre. The archaeological complex is located north-east of Arica at 3000 meters above sea level, located on a cliff surrounded by cliffs and defended by a double parallel wall. Inside there are about 400 enclosures with circular walls and a stone floor, probably corrals or defensive parapets. It dates back to the 12th century and has been declared a National Monument since 1983. It was restored by the University of Tarapacá in 1979.
