Visiting a territory means above all tasting its products, central Sardinia and the Mandrolisai are far from the most well-known tourist routes but can offer unique food and wine and landscape experiences.
Our cheeses tell the story of our territory, our wooded pastures, our rural landscapes.
Before tasting a cheese it is good to know its origin, ours begins its history in the pastures, these are the foundations of our product, they affect the nutritional and aromatic values.
We bet everything on simple and natural cheeses, without added enzymes; for this we work them by hand without any heat treatment thus allowing to keep all its organoleptic characteristics intact.
The dairy is located in Samugheo, 150 meters from the MURATS_Museo Unico Regionale Arte Tessile Sarda. It is accessed from a dirt road that starts in front of the museum, on the side of provincial road 71 for Busachi.
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
Our guests will be able to visit the various processing rooms of the dairy, get to know the stages of transformation of the milk, see and understand the function of each single tool, soak up the scent of the maturing room ... an experience aimed at making people understand the importance of the artisan processing of raw milk. The itinerary ends with a guided tasting of a selection of 5 of our cheeses in the adjacent tasting room.
