When you have a long history like Charleston does, some bad things are going to happen. Our goal is to provide stories of murder and mayhem, but our guides will also give you the stories of those you may not have heard of before. Going deeper into the history of those who died and still haunt the peninsula of Charleston

The Powder Magazine
This building, completed in 1713, serves as the oldest government structure still standing in Charleston. It goes back to the days of the walled city. Used for gunpowder storage until 1748. Survived the American Revolutionary War and has served as a museum since being purchased in the early 1900s.
