Kamakura (??) is a coastal city in Kanagawa Prefecture, an hour south of Tokyo. The city became the political center of Japan, when Minamoto Yoritomo chose it as the seat of its new military government at the end of the 12th century. The Kamakura government continued to rule Japan for more than a century, first under the Minamoto shogun and then under the Hojo rulers.
In this tour we will have the opportunity to know the importance that the city had as a political capital and the legano that it left. A tour that mixes tradition, religious places, streets with a lot of life and commercial activity as well as the most exquisite Japanese culture such as Zen gardens, or the most typical Kamakura dish in an authentic place.
