What To Expect
What you'll do
Our kayaking experience begins with the pick up at your hotel or Airbnb of preference, then we drive out of town for about 45 minutes to get to El Castillo, which offer stunning views of the dry side of the Arenal Volcano and the Cerro Chato.
Once we arrive to our put in location, our certified staff will prepare the gear, give you a short safety instructions and provide you with water.
To continue, we will paddle 6 kilometers (roundtrip) while enjoying the calm waters of the Arenal Lake. We will spend 2 hours on the water, which will allow us to spot different species of monkey's and birds like: Tiger Heron, Great Egret, Snake Head Bird (Anhinga), Toucans, Red Macaw, Howler Monkey's , little blue heron and much more.
Lake Arenal is a lake which is situated in the northern highlands of Costa Rica. It is currently the largest lake in Costa Rica at 85-square-kilometre. Its depth varies between 30 and 60 meters seasonally.
Afterwards, we drive for about 20 minutes to get to the Wellness Park, where you will be able to walk through breathtaking landscapes and observing the diverse wildlife. This experience allows you to hike in the heart of the rainforest.

- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
