Villa Olmo
Villa Olmo is certainly the most impressive of the villas on Lake Como. It consists of a vast complex which, in addition to a large park, includes several buildings.
The villa is a fine example of imposing neoclassical architecture. Begun at the end of the 18th century and completed in 1812 by the Odescalchi Marquises, it passed to the Raimondi family, then to the Visconti di Modrone family and in 1925 to the Municipality which used it as a venue for cultural events and art exhibitions.
