Overview
Experience the history of the Black Canyon on the Colorado River with the longest running and most professional tour company on the river. Evolution Expeditions has high end Prijon touring kayaks with rudders. They are sit inside with padded backs and seats. Our guides are all Wilderness First Aid/CPR certified and trained in rescues. The trip includes a between 4 and 6 miles paddle. with time to enjoy the scenery and a deli catered lunch. We stop several times along the way to take photos in the Emerald Cave and venture to historical sites, which give you views of the canyon from above.

Please meet us at the Paddle craft launch beach 20 minutes before your tour start time to meet your guide and get fitted with life vests and boats. Tours will begin promptly at their scheduled start time.

For 10am tour start you will be picked up at the times below: Bellagio (Pick up: 8:20 am PST) Uber/Ride-share area; Lower level Mandalay Bay (Pick up: 8:30 am PST). Shuttle/Tour bus lobby on the beach level 1-1.5 hours drive time depending on traffic, 4-4.5 hours of tour, and 1-1.5 hours return drive back depending on traffic. For 11am tour start you will be picked up at the times below: Bellagio (Pick up: 9:20 am PST) Uber/Ride-share area; Lower level Mandalay Bay (Pick up: 9:30 am PST). Shuttle/Tour bus lobby on the beach level Please be courteous to other participants and promptly show up on time at the tour bus area or launch location provided on the confirmation email. Please have your cellular phone on and available. Shuttles generally arrive back to Las Vegas Resort & Hotels between 100 and 120 minutes after the kayak tour ends. Shuttle times vary with traffic.
What To Expect

Explore giant volcanic boulders at the opening of Black Canyon where many paddlers contemplate a descent into the crystal clear, emerald waters of the Colorado River. Enjoy a health-conscious gourmet lunch on a remote beach, while enjoying the wildlife drama unfold on both Nevada and Arizona shorelines. Be prepared to see desert bighorn sheep, osprey, falcons, bald eagles, and great blue heron in their natural setting!
The Black Canyon is a short distance from the Las Vegas Strip, located in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The tour begins in the morning when you arrive at Willow Beach, Arizona.
