Passionate about travel and architecture, Céline and Yvan ZEYSSOLFF have set themselves the goal of democratizing one of France's finest heritages: WINE. The estate is no longer used solely as a working tool, but as a place for sharing, where wine is told through a family and regional history.
This estate, rich in history and heritage, is a place for sharing, where wine enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts come away enriched not only culturally but also emotionally. It's an old family winery dating back to 1850, where history meets modernity! The immersive cellar experience is unique in France!
You'll taste 5 Alsace wines and leave with a picnic basket to enjoy in the vineyards or at home!
Children welcome! The visit is free for them, so come along without registering! However, if you register your children, they will also receive a picnic basket.
The estate is located opposite a large parking lot. Easily accessible by train: Gertwiller station (5-minute walk) or Barr station (20-minute walk). Store accessible to people with reduced mobility, but cellar isn't wheelchair accessible.
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
During your visit to our cellar, you'll learn the secrets of wine-making, while contemplating the natural spaces where Maison ZEYSSOLFF wines are born and bred. A commented tasting of 5 wines and a picnic basket to take away or enjoy on our terrace or in the wine space will complete the package.
Maison ZEYSSOLFF is an exceptional cellar, with some hundred-year-old oak tuns, each with a capacity of 10,000L. Its great curiosity is the ZEYSSOLFF cask, made in 1897 for the Paris Universal Exhibition (1900) and still in use today.
Following the complete organic conversion of Maison Zeyssolff, we have renovated the cellar and are taking advantage of this new setting to offer our future visitors a new activity: a scenographic area with a 180° immersive movie projected onto the barrels.
It's a film about Our rather rich personal history, and Our work philosophy. The experience is projected in the winery, with mapping on certain sequences.
At the end of the tasting, you'll be given a picnic basket with some ideas for hiking.
Trophée du tourisme Alsace 2021 et Trophée de l'Oenotourisme 2022.
