Join our Languedoc wine weekend for 3 glorious days of savouring the wine and food of the Languedoc region. Guided by wine expert Sean, you will learn what is so special about this astonishing collection of mountains, lagoons, ancient cities, beaches, canals and vineyards.
During this wonderful long weekend, we taste wine in 5 different locations, including around the swimming pool of a private garden, on a beautiful sandy beach with the Pyrenees in the background, at a stunning vineyard with views of la clape, and in 2 quality restaurants in the historic town of Narbonne.
You will be presented with a comprehensive 101 on the Languedoc region, its wines, gastronomy, geography, language, history, and legends. During the weekend the tastings with include fascinating stories from local vineyards, which are only learnt after years of working in the area, together with vignerons of the Languedoc
We will meet you outside the main train station in Narbonne.

The adventure starts with a comprehensive 101 on the Languedoc region, its wines, gastronomy, geography, language, history, and legends. During this first evening you will try 6 different wines, accompanied by delicacies such as oysters, tapenade, Midi cheeses, lucques olives, anchovies, brandade de morue, thonoïde, salade de poulpe and local fruit. This initial wine tasting starts at 7pm on the Friday evening and is the start of the 3 day tour.

On the Saturday morning you will be free to explore the beautiful historic town of Narbonne with its lovely boutique shops, one of the the highest cathedrals in France, pretty canal and award-winning market. You will be given recommendations and suggestions for trips around the area if you are feeling more adventurous.

After lunch on Saturday we will call in on one of the beautiful hidden family-run vineyards nestled in the nearby mountains. Here you will have a guided tour of the chai and taste some of their delicious bottles in the company of the wine-maker.

Sunday morning starts with a trip to Les Halles, which is often voted the best market in France. Sean will guide you around the stalls and introduce you to the best local produce. You will have the opportunity to buy whatever takes your fancy for our lunchtime tasting on the beach.

At the seaside picnic on Sunday afternoon you will taste wines from the coastal regions of the Languedoc. The combination of fresh produce, sea air, saline whites and herby reds is unbeatable.
