The meeting point is at the Purmamarca bus terminal, near the entrance of the town. To recognize each other we will arrive in a red Toyota Hilux model truck.
This activity ends back at the meeting point.

After 90 minutes of the route, we will stop at a "Panoramic Point" for 10 minutes where we can observe "The slope" and its path as well as take photos

Salinas Grandes is located approximately 140 km from San Salvador de Jujuy. We will tour the third largest salt flat in the world with a host from the local community. Here we can buy crafts made of Salt. The parador has toilets, food and drinks

Accompanied by a local host, we will visit the pools they build to extract the Salt, then we will travel through the salt flat until we reach the "Ojo del Salar", this place gives us unique and unmatched postcards.

We will travel 45 km in 50 minutes to reach the Archaeological Interpretation Center, here we will be able to obtain information, see panels and illustrative videos in Spanish and English about the work that archaeologists do. You can also buy local crafts here. From here we will travel 10 km to "Las Barrancas" this is a Natural Reserve where there are petroglyphs, engravings, rock paintings and ruins of human settlements that transport us to the roots of the culture of the Andes.

After visiting "Barrancas" we began our 178km return to the City of San Salvador de Jujuy or to the points where the passengers were picked up. The duration of the return journey is approximately 2 hours 40 minutes, where tourists will be able to observe beautiful landscapes that we have already visited but different because of the daylight.
