This tour is ideal for those who don't have the energy or desire to tour all day in one place. Our excursion perfectly balances town and country: the morning in Florence and the afternoon at a Tuscan boutique winery (cost of lunch not included in the rate). Enjoy the Medieval and Renaissance beauty of Tuscany's legendary capital as your driver takes you around to see all the iconic landmarks, then relax in the countryside as you drive to the winery and enjoy lunch accompanied by a guided wine tasting amid the natural splendour. This day trip from the port of Livorno captures the best of Florence and the best of Tuscany, especially if you love wine!
Kindly note: The cost of lunch is NOT included in the rate. You'll pay for lunch on the spot, directly to the winery (45 Euro pp for adults; 22.50 Euro for youths/children; no charge for infants/toddlers who don't eat).
After a 75-minute drive from the port of Livorno, we'll arrive in Florence. Our adventure begins in Piazzale Michelangelo, high on a hill above the Arno River, where you'll be able to take impressive photos of the spectacular Florence cityscape. In the historic centre, your driver will take you on a little panoramic tour of Florence including Santa Croce, the cathedral, PIazza della Repubblica, Porcellino Market, Piazza della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio. While traveling, your driver will explain the history of Florence and give you some background information on all the monuments. Then you'll have some free time to explore the city on your own.

On a hilltop In the rolling Tuscan countryside near the historic village of Vinci (birthplace of Leonardo), sits Fattoria l'Arco, a unique boutique winery. Varietals grown on the estate include Merlot, Cabernet, and Sangiovese, in addition to some esoteric grapes used to achieve distinctive blends. The winery also produces Prosecco, a dry sparkling wine, which is rare in Tuscany, as well as its own extra-virgin olive oil. The abundant lunch is comprised of antipasto (toasted Tuscan bread with seasonal toppings, cured local meats and cheeses), a pasta or rice dish made with seasonal ingredients, and dessert (typically biscotti and Vin Santo, a dry dessert wine). The wine pairings include three wines (usually one white and two reds) plus Vin Santo. Weather permitting, lunch is served outside under a gazebo. Kindly note: The cost of lunch is NOT included in the rate. You'll pay for lunch on the spot, directly to the winery. Driving times: about 50 minutes each way.
