Follow your guide through the carrugi and down the perfect cove of pebble beach to grasp the soul of this unique place admiring the beautiful Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta and Dragon's Castle.
Visit the small marina filled with fishing boats where locals like to gather and taste local cuisine at a picturesque restaurant before taking a boat cruise to reach the enchanting San Fruttuoso Abbey. What To Expect
Camogli
Meet your guide outside the train station in Camogli and start exploring the historic center strolling along its charming “Carugi” (alleys). Learn about the history and culture of the village and continue down the streets to the sea, passing by trompe l'œil villas and elegant shops.

Basilica Di Santa Maria Assunta
Visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta dating to the 12th century, which like a shrine holds the treasures of the small fishermen community. The Basilica stands on what is called the ancient medieval island, the fulcrum of the village, where the political and religious life of the hamlet was carried out in ancient times; today it represents the symbol of Camogli.

Castello Della Dragonara
Learn about the history of Dragon’s Castle, built on a promontory near the edge of town in the 13th century to protect the village against pirates. Stroll along the seaside promenade and stop at the small harbour filled with fishing boats. After all this walking you will be rewarded with a delicious lunch at a typical Ligurian restaurant.

Abbazia di San Fruttuoso
Embark on the public boat to San Fruttuoso and enjoy the beautiful views of the coast. Follow your guide to this corner of paradise and learn about the story of the enchanting Benedictine monastery (Xth century), that with the fishing village around it stand as a true oasis in a unique scenario, amid the earth and the woodlands of Mount Portofino and the blue sea of eastern Liguria. Relax on its small beach with turquoise waters and grasp the soul of this place before taking the ferry back to Camogli.
