The Val Maggiore canyon is one of the most beautiful and fun canyons of the Prealps and of all the Dolomites.
It is fun and scenic and alternates adrenaline-pumping rope descents with fun dives and toboggans.
It is suitable for those who have never done canyoning but have a good water level and are not afraid of heights.
MATERIAL TO BRING: swimsuit, towel or beach towel, sneakers to wet, complete replacement (clothes and shoes)
Meeting point: car park to the right of the Hotel De March, at the La Secca junction, near the bus stop
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
Have you ever dreamed of doing a fun and adrenaline-pumping activity in an environment of rare beauty? Have you ever wanted to explore a deep canyon and get up close and personal at the work that water has done over thousands of years? Have you ever wanted to touch the power of water and swim in crystal clear waters? If at least one of the answers was yes, canyoning is the activity for you!
But what does canyoning mean? It means going through the bottom of a gorge or canyon, where a torrent flows. We will follow the flow of the water, alternating sections with swimming, diving and short sections on foot. At the highest jumps you will be abseiled by the Alpine Guide.
The canyon that I propose is called Val Maggiore. It is a beautiful, fun and aquatic gorge, which alternates adrenaline-pumping abseiling with diving and fun natural slides. A unique path of its kind, which will make you experience intense emotions! One of the funniest gorges of all the Pre-Alps and even the Dolomites!
N.B .: To do the activity it is necessary to have a minimum of aquaticity and not suffer from vertigo. No dive is mandatory (abseiling safely with the rope is always possible)
