As you step into Thimphu's Centenary Farmers Market, you're greeted by a lively atmosphere filled with the essence of Bhutanese culture. On your second day, you will be driven to Tashichho dzong where the festival takes place by our guide and driver. This ancient fortress was in ruins for a long time and now built back to its former glory. Formal consecration is yet to happen so entrance inside the fortress is prohibited for now.It stands as a testament to victory against Tibetan invaders in the 17th century. After visiting all these sites, you may find yourself with diminished energy for further exploration. Therefore, to provide an opportunity for refreshment and relaxation, we will guide you through Paro town. Here, you can opt to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee, indulge in a few refreshing beers, and savor delectable side dishes, allowing you time to rejuvenate and recover from your adventures.
