Also, we can arrange pickup from the main city park. It is located across the street from the Old Town of Kotor, 4 minutes' walk from the main city gate. If you are arriving directly from the port, simply take a left, past the port gate, and take the stairs down into the park.

Our Lady of the Rocks
Nestled in the serene waters of the Bay of Kotor, The Lady of the Rocks stands as a testament to the sheer force of human faith and collective effort. This man-made island, conceived in the mid-15th century, was painstakingly built by the spirited folk of Perast, a quaint coastal village. These individuals, primarily military sailors under the dominion of the Venetian Republic, were not only skilled in the art of war but deeply rooted in their religious convictions and cultural heritage. Within the walls of the church lies a repository of culture and history, magnificently adorned with oil paintings by Tripo Kokolja, a master of the local arts. The church also showcases a vast collection of silver ex-voto gifts, each piece recounting stories of peril, prayer, and providence This place not only preserves the traditions of the past but also breathes life into the ongoing story of a people devoted to their faith and to each other.

Perast
Situated on a peninsula that gracefully stretches into the blue waters of the Adriatic, the village of Perast is a gem in the Bay of Kotor, embodying a blend of natural beauty and a profound historical narrative. The Serbo-Croatian term for ‘finger,’ “prst”, seems to resonate in the name Perast, aptly describing its geographic position pointing towards the Verige strait, known as the “Iron Gates.” This spot, critical for controlling access to the inner bay, highlights Perast’s historic role under the Venetian Republic as a vital maritime sentinel. Despite its entrenched military role, Perast exudes an air of baroque beauty. The village’s architecture cleverly combines aesthetic grace with strategic fortification. Each building, from palatial homes to sacred structures, is designed with thick walls, gun ports, and strategic vantage points. Even the revered Our Lady of the Rocks church is outfitted with cannon ports, and its bell tower serves as a protective watchtower.

Kraken - underwater wine cellar
To try out this unique tasting experience, you will not need scuba diving equipment, just your curiosity and a speed boat. It takes about 20 minutes to get there by boat, if you leave from Kotor. You really have to watch out, as you can easily miss this hidden gem. The idea of the owners was to create a small oasis, out of the way of the masses, where you can sit back and take in the sights and the experience in peace.

- If you decide to enter Our Lady of the Rocks church, you need to be dressed appropriately (no swimwear and covered shoulders)
- Swimming around Our Lady of the Rocks / usage of drones is prohibited
- We recommend wearing warmer clothing outside summer months, as it can be chilly on the open water
- Pickup is not possible at every pier. We will advise you what are the safe options near you.
- Our Lady of the Rocks Church has variable working hours during the year. Check with us, if you want to go inside.
- The remaining tour time includes the speedboat ride from Kotor to our first stop, the ride time between stops and the return journey back to starting point
