Our signature tour takes in some of the most beautiful sights the area has to offer from Millionaire's View to the Falls of Shin. The highlight of the day is a visit to the magical and magnificent Dunrobin Castle. Guests will arrive in good time for the falconry display (not to be missed) and will have plenty time to peruse the castle, grounds and museum. The afternoon then takes you to The Royal Burgh of Dornoch before winding down with a visit to Glenmorangie Distillery.
As you walk out of the gates to the port you will see a 6ft 7" bald man in a kilt, that's me. Your guide will be there and we'll be marking guests off on our lists so all you need is your names and we'll do the rest. As Invergordon is a small town we try to park as close as possible to the port but unfortunately we can't park right outside the gates. There is a short walk to your bus from where you meet us but you will be taken there by one of our employees so you won't get lost. If you have trouble walking or mobility issues please let us know in advance so that we can be prepared on the day.

Millionaire's Viewpoint (as it's known to the locals) is the first stop and there will be plenty time to take pictures before the tour descends in to the Glen through Bonar Bridge on your way to The Falls of Shin and the Salmon Leap.

The Falls of Shin Visitor Centre & Salmon Leap. Atlantic Salmon can often be seen leaping the falls, making the final push toward their birthplace for the cycle to start all over again. Even without the salmon jumping it's a beautiful spot providing a relaxing start to the day. The visitor centre also features restrooms and a cafe.

Dunrobin Castle & Gardens is very popular with locals and it always goes down well with our guests. The falconry display is amazing - Andy (The Falconer) has been working with local birds for over 25 years and his knowledge and passion shine through. He's a very interesting character and many people say it's the best they've seen in the world. The castle looks like it is straight out of a fairy-tale and set in the Scottish Highlands it looks magnificent. Dunrobin also has a wonderfully unique museum and taxidermy collection for those who are interested.

Dornoch is home to a stunning golden sandy beach and a world class golf course but even without these things it just takes you to another time altogether. The old Jail has been turned into a shop selling locally made, hand crafted gifts, jewellery and works of art, if you're looking for souvenirs. The Cathedral also draws lots of visitors with a collection of beautiful stained glass windows. Dornoch is also a great place to stop for lunch with lots of options including a local bakery, a patisserie, a gallery, the Eagle hotel (great fish and chips) and The Carnegie Courthouse so there's something to suit all tastes.
