Yufugawa Gorge is uninhabited therefore making it an excellent choice for those seeking to enjoy untouched nature and fresh air!
You can see beautiful green waterfalls, big rocks covered by green moss, and " Chock stone" which is the symbol of Yufugawa Gorge. The Chock stone is big stone which is chocked between gorge. It is mysterious and breathtaking landscape. The gorge looks like as if the world of Ghibli movie.
This tour can accommodate from solo travelers to a group of 15 people. This is private tour. You can walk and enjoy the gorge safely with our experienced guide, and take your time to walk and enjoy the scenery.

The meeting point is former Hounoki Elementary School gym which the building has orange roof. We put " Yufugawa Gorge Packragt tour" blue and white banner flag around the entrance. * Google map shows wrong way, so please find our banner flag to find the entrance.

What To Expect
Explore and see " Chock stone" in Yufugawa gorge where is hidden gem near famous Yufuin onsen and Beppu onsen !!
This is a private tour with experienced guide. We can go at your pace.
We also provide water booties, Wetsuit pants, PFD, Helmets, gloves for safe tour.
The chock stone is a big stone chocked between gorge. It is famous among photographer, and this stone is used by the famous airplane company's poster.
It is amazing nature scenery, and it is good for taking memorable photos!
The tour guide of this course use English translation machine, or English speaking guide. Our guide also can speak Japanese.
The participant needs to understand English or Japanese for safety reason.
