Join a local New Yorker and sake enthusiast on a tour of the best sake bars in the East Village! At each of the bars, you'll get to sip on different types of sake as you learn about the uniqueness, brewing process, and history of this underrated and misunderstood alcohol.
You'll try about 2 drinks at each of the 3 bars that we visit. The drinks will vary at each bar, but you'll get to try the best bottles of sake that the bars have to offer. After experiencing this tour you'll be able to say which type of sake you enjoy, and you'll have the experience and knowledge to order sake on your own!
Your tour will provide you with a crash course on everything you need to know about sake, as well as give you the confidence to go out and buy your first bottle of sake. Whether you've never had a sip of sake in your life or you want to better understand the beverage you've already enjoyed, then this is the experience for you!
What's Included
- We'll try a different type of sake at each bar!
- Unfortunately due to large group sizes, tight schedules, and differing nutritional needs, we are unable to provide food (snacks, dinner, drunchies) on the tour.
- Make sure to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated as we walk around!

What To Expect
East Village
The tour will take place in iconic East Village (EV) where you'll get to see the "locals" side of New York. Students, artists, young professionals, and life long New Yorkers all live together in this trendy and vibrant neighborhood. As we trvael from bar to bar, we'll walk through the beautiful and quintessential New York residential streets as well as Tompkins Square Park. Have your camera ready to capture street style, golden hour, and much more!

Tompkins Square Park
We'll walk through the historical Tompkins Square Park to get to our last sake bar. This park has been significant in the development of East Village and is enjoyed by all of the local East Villagers!
