It is the old Italian phrase, which means black mountain. And the country's surface is mostly covered by them. They are beautiful and wild, but accessible at the same time. We invite you on a trip where you will have the opportunity to get to know the north-west part of Montenegro. A very famous one – Durmitor. It is a range where The National Park of Durmitor and the Tara river are located.
This is a unique trip, full of beautiful views. Perfect for nature fans, photography enthusiasts, and people who want to get to know the mountain part of Montenegro. The Durmitor National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1980. This is the most beautiful region of the country!

We pick up travelers from every bus stop in Herceg Novi Municipality. Also, there is a possibility to pick up from Risan, Perast, Kotor (also from the bus stops).
What To Expect
Lipci
The adventure starts early in the morning from Herceg Novi or any other pic up or meeting point. On our way, we will make a few stops. First on a viewpoint in Lipci, where we will admire the Bay of Kotor.

The second stop will be on the viewpoint of the beautiful Slano Lake.

Niksic Municipality
The third stop is going to be near the town of Nikšić, where we will have breakfast. After that we will continue our journey. Soon, there will appear on the horizon the southern peaks of the Durmitor.

Tara Bridge
This architectural monument is 366 meters wide, over the deepest canyon in Europe. By the bridge you will find numerous stalls with local products, including: Durmitor tea and rakija (Durmitorski čaj and šljivovica), also a restaurant, and for the brave ones, there is a zip-line ride along the bridge. Do you dare? It's worth it - both for the emotions and the views.

Crno Lake
The largest lake of Durmitor. We will stop there for a while. You can use your free time to swim, take a boat, a quick walk or simply relax on a bench or in a cafe.

Durmitor National Park
A ride along the famous route P14, which includes some of the most interesting and beautiful places on Durmitor. During this trip we will stop, among others: at the characteristic peaks of Sedlo (1907 m) and Prutaš (2393 m) and we will admire amazing landscapes. Also be prepared for meeting domestic animals that graze on mountain pastures in the summer.

Piva Canyon
A huge lake (42 km long, 180 m deep) is known for its turquoise water. It was created in a former river canyon. Its beauty leaves you speechless.

Near the lake and the village of Rudnice, where in Izlazak Camp we will have a late traditional lunch with specialties from the region. And then, refreshed and full od deliciouse food, we will go back to Herceg Novi.
