Overview
This is our most popular tour, we walk you through Edinburgh's cobbled streets where we will see some of Scotland's most iconic landmarks such as St Giles Cathedral, West Parliament Square, Lady Stairs close, the writers museum, the Lawnmarket, Johnston Terrace, Victoria Street, The Grassmarket, Candlemaker Row, Greyfriar's Kirkyard. Greyfriar's Bobby and The Elephant House.
Your costumed guide will share with you the stories that makes up the incredibly colourful History of Scotland's capital. We talk about heroes and villains, witches and pirates, wizards and damsels in distress, Kings and Queens and famous dogs. There's something for everyone. We will see buildings and streets that inspired writers and historian's alike. We will visit film locations as well as a haunted cemetery in the heart of town. We will talk about Edinburgh's magical past, criminal histories and rebellions, stories that shaped Scotland as it is today. Your costumed guides will entertain you on foot through one of the most exciting and unique cities in Europe.
