Overview
Sail on a unique river in the heart of the oldest demarcated wine region in the world and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Depart from Pinhão, passing under the Eiffel iron bridge, and head towards the Roncão area, where you will turn around to return to Pinhão.
Along the way, gaze down the hills of terraced vineyards to the river, without passing through national highways and without encountering any traffic in sight. Although you will follow the same route there and back, the impression will be that you have taken two different paths, since the views provided and the landmarks seen are completely different. Traditional rabelo boats have open and closed areas, so navigation will be completely comfortable in all types of weather, all year round.

What To Expect
Navigate a special river, in the heart of the first demarcated wine region in the world, and UNESCO heritage. We start in Pinhão, pass under the Eiffel iron bridge, sail up the river to the Roncão area, returning to Pinhão. You will see vineyards on terraces down to the river, in a landscape without national roads or road traffic. Although the stretch of river on the way back is the same, it could very well be different, since when seen in another direction it creates totally different views and landscapes. The traditional Rabelo boats have open and closed areas, allowing comfortable navigation at any time of the year and weather conditions.
