A trip to the desert in Morocco is not complete without a camel trek in the dunes. For those who are fascinated by the caravans which crossed the African deserts between mythical cities transporting wanted products like salt, this is the opportunity to feel like a nomad for one night.
Experience Morocco with a camel trek through the dunes of Erg Chebbi Desert on this overnight trip through the Sahara.
Try sand-boarding and drumming, then enjoy traditional tagine and sweet mint tea before camping under the stars in a Berber tent.

Merzouga Arrival and Evening Camel Trek

Afternoon: Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where your desert adventure begins. Meet and Greet: Our team will welcome you to Merzouga. Camel Caravan Departure: Head to the camel trek starting point, where you'll meet your camels for the journey. Evening Camel Trek: Start your camel trek into the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes, guided by an experienced local. Sunset Views: Pause during your trek to witness the captivating desert sunset. Take photos and enjoy the serene atmosphere. Optional Sandboarding: If interested, try sandboarding down the dunes. Welcome to the Camp: Continue your camel trek to the desert camp, where you'll be greeted with mint tea. Evening Activities: As night falls, enjoy Berber music around the campfire, dine on delicious Moroccan cuisine, and take in the starry desert sky. Night in the Sahara: Retire to your comfortable desert tent for a night's rest amidst the dunes.
