Experience the Sumatran tropical rainforest with an overnight stay in Leuser National Park. This trek offers an authentic jungle experience, perfect for those wanting to connect deeply with nature and experience the nocturnal life of the jungle. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Gunung Leuser National Park.
What's Included
- Traditional camp/tent, mattress, sleeping bag and mosquito net.
- Return from the jungle: Rafting back by traditional tube to Bukit Lawang village.
- day 2-breakfast (Tost with friedegg and cheese/pancake)
- Day 1-dinner (Rice, veg curry, chicken rendang, sambal tempe/tofu, perkedel and fried egg/omlette).
- Certified English speaking guide and porter.
- day 2-lunch (Friednoodle/noodle soup and fruit)
- day 1-lunch (Friedrice with veg, egg, chicken and fruit)
- Each guest receives a 1.5L bottle of water (refillable at the camp with boiled water). Tea, coffee, or hot ginger with snacks are provided during leisure time at the camp.
- Leuser National Park, camera tax 10 Euros/ person for normal day and 13 Euros/ person in Sundays.

What To Expect
The most popular way to experience the real Sumatran tropical rainforest is an adventurous overnight stay in the Gunung Leuser National Park. On a peaceful campsite along a river bank your sweet dreams will be accompanied by the natural melodies of the jungle. In the morning you will wake up to the sounds of monkeys, birds, insects and the Bohorok River. We recommend our overnight trek for sportive travellers who want to hike 2 days in fantastic tropical nature and experience the nocturnal life of the jungle.
