Overview
Travel back in time to the days of traditional mining and try the simple yet rewarding technique of gold panning. Using a gold pan and some water, you can wash the gravel and look for gold!

What To Expect
During this activity, your guide will give you a full demonstration of the traditional way of mining using authentic pieces of equipment.
As we learn about the history and legends of the Lapland Gold Rush and visit a gold prospector’s cabin, our guide will also teach you the proper technique of panning for gold.
Can you find your share of Lapland gold? All the gold you find is yours to keep as a memory in a tiny glass bottle.
We finish the experience by enjoying a hot cup of coffee and a traditional snack by the cosy heat of the campfire.
