Overview
Gordon Bay Provincial Park is Cowichan Lake's #1 paddling destination! With towering trees, rugged landscapes and pristine waters just steps from our facility, you can have an easy, care-free paddleboard experience whenever you choose! Come out to the lake for the day or book with us to accompany your camping experience at the park.
We use high quality paddle gear from Red Paddle Co and Mustang Survival helping to deliver a premium paddling experience. We supply pretty much everything you will need for your adventure.
What's Included
- Red Paddle Co. paddleboard, adjustable paddle, PFD (personal flotation device), 15L dry bag, smartphone dry pouch. We will also provide you with a quick-start lesson on the beach!
Meeting And Pickup
Meeting point
Take your first right as you enter Gordon Bay Provincial Park and drive into the boat launch parking lot. Look for our small sign at the entrance to the trail. Walk down the trail and you will see us on the left side. Look for the white "Paddle Pod".
End Point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
What To Expect
Launch from Gordon Bay Provincial Park for a breath-taking tour around the islands down the lake to steep moss-covered cliffs that tower straight out of the emerald green waters of Cowichan Lake.
With our high-quality equipment and knowledge of the area, rest assured you are in good hands with us.

- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
