Bellagio, a small jewel located on the promontory that separates the two southern arms of Lake Como, those that culminate in the cities of Como and Lecco, stands as one of the most fascinating and romantic destinations in Lombardy. In fact, the renowned "Pearl of Lake Como" boasts a lively and colorful historic centre, splendid gardens (parks of Villa Serbelloni and Villa Melzi), enchanting neighborhoods (such as Pescallo or San Giovanni) and much more.

I Giardini di Villa Melzi
The Gardens of Villa Melzi d'Eril, counted among the most evocative in Europe, extend along the shores of Lake Como, integrating perfectly into the context of the hills that divide the two branches of the lake. This complex includes the main Villa, a Chapel and the Serra degli Aranci, now transformed into a museum of significant historical importance. Characterized by the neoclassical style, the Gardens of Villa Melzi d'Eril have been recognized as a national monument.

Menaggio

The building was completed in 1921, following a daring project by the Coppedè brothers. The villa was used in 2006 to record some scenes of the film "Casino Royale" with Daniel Craig as James Bond. The villa resembles a medieval castle. The name derives from that of the tip where it stands.
