Our day will start with a forest walk. We will be looking for birds, reptiles, mammals, then trees and plants. The area has a great bio diversity and there is a good chance of seeing wildlife in their natural habitat. Back in camp, we will have lunch and after this get ready to go out on the river in boats. We are bringing our fishing rods to see if we can find some fishing activity. We will get out from the boats and visit one of the Oxbow lakes and talk about how these are formed and play a vital role in the ecosystem. After dinner, we will get to the boats with powerful head torches and go and shine for snakes and caimans to see if we can find some either up small creeks or in the main river.
