What To Expect
Arrival Day - Canoeing, Jungle & Night Walks
2 Stops
Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve
We will meet at the meeting point in Cuyabeno River between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. After registering and a brief talk with our naturalist guide, we will take a two-hour canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River to the Lodge, enjoying the jungle flora and fauna. We will arrive around 1:30 pm, have lunch, and relax.

Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve
At 4:30 pm, we'll explore the flooded jungle by motor canoe, seeing sloths, pink dolphins, and other wildlife, and tour the Laguna Grande, witnessing the sunset and swimming. We'll return to camp for dinner, a welcome cocktail, and a night excursion to observe caimans, snakes, and nocturnal birds, concluding our first day in the jungle.

Ecological Paddling Canoeing & Animal Watching

7:00 am: Breakfast 8:00 am: We will take our paddle canoes and head to our Caimancocha trail, we will have a walk in the primary forest for approximately 3 hours, On this trail our guide will explain about the ecology of the Amazon rainforest, medicinal plants, variety of animals and interactions of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. 1:30 pm: we will return to our lodge. 4:30 pm We will take a tour in our Catamaran, with ease to relax, observe a variety of animals, pink dolphins, monkeys. We will swim and watch the fantastic sunset. 7:30 pm Dinner Afterwards, we will have a night walk for about an hour to see arachnids, amphibians and hopefully nocturnal reptiles.

Bird Watching and Return Day

5:30am: Head to the Great Cayman Bird Tower to enjoy a variety of birds and a beautiful sunrise with delicious coffee. 8:00 am: We will have breakfast at the hotel and prepare for our return at 9:30 am to the Cuyabeno Bridge where we will have lunch and you will end the tour.
