Create your photographic reportage, your project, on Venice, from the idea to the final selection and publication of the photos, guided by an international photo reporter, a unique opportunity as the workshop is tailor-made to review the technical approach, from camera settings to composition, depending on the final project you wish to develop during the course.
It's available to both beginners who want to learn how to best use their camera and aspiring professionals who want to take their photography to the next level. Find your photography style, and learn how to communicate with images, not just how to use tools.
Learn about different photography styles and how to apply them to a specific project or story.
Learn the grammar of photography, how to make an image like a sentence.
Learn how to post-produce your images, how to select and edit them to have a visual story.

The meeting point is easily reachable as it is at the foot of the famous Rialto Bridge. This meeting point is valid for the first day of the course, for the following days it will be agreed depending on the activities planned for the same day.

What To Expect
Create your reportage, your visual project, in the most beautiful city in the world, Venice, with an international photo reporter!
5 days of immersion in photography, to review your approach, develop your photographic personality, understand how to create a visual story, from the idea to the final editing and selection, a unique opportunity to fully experience the city and tell a story photography by exploring different photographic styles: from portrait to lifestyle, landscape, architectural and street photography.
The teacher will be Simone Padovani, a photojournalist who lives in Venice and university teacher. He works internationally for Getty Images, National Geographic and other international magazines.
5 days of lessons and practice with photographic sessions:
- from local artisans and master glassmakers
- by boat in the Venice lagoon
- In the more local and less touristy areas of the city
- at dawn or dusk in the most suggestive areas
- theoretical and practical lessons on post production and editing
This photography workshop is available for both beginners and professionals looking to take their photography to the next level.
