Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)

The Great Pyramid of Khufu is a marvel waiting to be discovered. As the only remaining structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it was built in 2580 BC over a span of 20 years. Constructed using 2,300,000 limestone blocks, each weighing 2.5 tons, and a workforce of 100,000 skilled laborers, it reaches a height of 147 meters (481 feet), making it the tallest building in the world at the time.

Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is an enigmatic guardian from above, shaped as a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a man, believed to represent King Khafre, symbolizing his eternal power and wisdom. Standing 73 meters (240 feet) long and 19 meters (66 feet) high, it was carved from a single limestone rock and has remained shrouded in mystery since its construction during the Old Kingdom (2686–2134 BC). The Valley Temple, also built during Egypt's Old Kingdom, was part of the complex and played a crucial role in the mummification process. It is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites of ancient Egyptian civilization, offering valuable insights into ancient Egyptian mummification practices. The temple is constructed from limestone and granite and houses impressive diorite statues of King Khafre.

The Unfinished Obelisk, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC), was intended to stand at the entrance of the Karnak Temple. Known as "Tekhenu," meaning "to pierce the sky," it illustrates the ancient Egyptian methods of crafting and constructing obelisks from scratch. The obelisk was planned to reach a height of 42 meters and weigh 1200 tons. Unfortunately, it cracked during construction and remains in its original location to this day.
