After arriving on Sunday afternoon, you'll be picked up either at the airport or your accommodation and transferred to the Lazy Horse equestrian center, just a short 30-minute drive away. Settle into your accommodation and take in the serene surroundings, with the option to explore the nearby forest or observe riding lessons in our riding arenas. The evening brings a delightful dinner with your fellow adventurers and your guide, featuring a ride and safety briefing by our friendly chefs, Rasim and Jason. Your first night's stay will be at Lazy Horse.

Monday (2 hours riding)

After a hearty breakfast, get introduced to your equine companions and have your riding skills evaluated. Saddle up for a pleasant morning ride for about 2 hours. This introductory ride is your chance to bond with your horse and set the tone for an unforgettable riding week. After returning to the farm, enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on a guided 2-hour walking tour of the captivating city of Sarajevo. Your day concludes with a visit to the Hedona Wine Club, a boutique winery perched on the slopes of Sarajevo, offering stunning city views. You'll explore their vineyards, indulge in wine tasting paired with innovative Bosnian dishes. The Hedona Wine Club is the first boutique winery in Sarajevo, surrounded by vineyards at an altitude of 850m. Hedona designed a great way to showcase their wines. The vineyard counts 3,500 vine plants, mostly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which they use to carefully make sparkling wines following traditional methods.

Nature Park Hutovo Blato

Day three marks the beginning of your journey into Herzegovina, the sun-soaked southern region of the country. An early start leads to a drive to meet your waiting horses in Herzegovina's lush Hutovo Blato nature park, known for its birdlife. Your ride takes you through lowlands and nearby hills, providing spectacular views of the wetlands. Enjoy a restful afternoon picnic and an electric boat ride on Deranje Lake. Your day ends with an overnight stay at a lakeside hotel, known for its delectable river fish cuisine. Following a brief respite, visit Domano, a winery renowned for its red wine variety, Blatina. Their slogan is “wine with deep roots”, because wines have been produced in Herzegovina since the time of the Illyrians. This offers ample opportunities to observe their behavior and capture unforgettable photos. The horses often approach the camp out of curiosity or because they are used to receiving salt and food from visitors. Following this unique experience, your group will head to a nearby hotel, followed by a tasting of wine and Livanja cheese, considered the best in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Knebu Winery, an organic winery located at a high altitude, will be your destination. After this last riding day, your horses will be transported in a horse truck back to the Lazy Horse Equestrian Center.
