What To Expect
Wat Kean Kleang
Our first stop will be at Wat Kean Kleang, also known as the Golden Temple. A must-see, located around 15 minutes from Phnom Penh's city centre. Upon arrival, Sophors will explain about this temple's past and the beautiful paintings on its walls. These pictures are like a colorful history book, telling the story of the birth, death, and reborn of Buddha. Inside, a unique spot awaits - a sacred space where the monks conduct water blessings. After exploring the temple for 30-45 minutes, our journey continues by traveling further into the hinterlands of Phnom Penh.

Our adventure moves on towards Silk Island, reached by a ferry crossing that adds an extra layer of excitement to our journey :D:D. The admission fee for Silk Island is included. Stepping onto the island, we'll unveil the secrets of silk weaving. Our destination? A captivating Silk Weaving Farm where nature and craftsmanship unite. Here, we'll meet a knowledgeable guide who'll unravel the silk's journey from growth to weaving. It's a chance to witness the artistry behind this local craft. The weaving farm is located along the water and surrounded by beautiful scenery. After about an hour of soaking in the marvels of silk weaving, we'll resume our journey, venturing deeper into Phnom Penh's hinterlands. Get ready for more exploration.

We will take a small ferry from Silk Island and travel to our Guesthouse Meet The Province. Arrived at our Guesthouse we take a little break and relax for about 20min.

COOKING CLASS: visit local market, learn about Khmer Ingredients and buy ingredients for our cooking class.

COOKING CLASS: Visit Meet The Garden (our vegetable garden) where we pick-up the vegetables for our cooking session.
30 Minutes • Admission Ticket Free
COOKING CLASS: Back at our guesthouse we will start chopping the ingredients, prepare our delicious Amok and eat it :D:D.
2 Hours 30 Minutes • Admission Ticket Free
Travel to the nearby ferry. This is the end of our tour. The ferry arrives in the city centre of Phnom Penh (cost ferry back not included).
