Enjoy this unique private tour with a local guide, who will be able to tell you the historical facts about the archaeological sites of Alghero: the nuraghe Palmavera, dating back to 1500 BCE, and the necropolis of Anghelu Ruju, with its 6000 years of "life".

Kevin, your professional local guide, is bilingual in Italian and English and he has always lived in Alghero, so that he will be able to answer your questions and also give you some useful information about the town, such as where to eat or what to do in Alghero and in the island.
*If you wish not to visit both archaeological sites, Kevin will be happy to lead you to the old town for a short visit of the Catalan-style city fortress, without any extra charge. Just let Kevin know when meeting him.

Pick-up transfer will be organized with a Fiat Punto or a Peugeot 206 directly from your hotel/accommodation/any other location within 7 km radius from Alghero city centre. The transfer is included for both ways (before and after the visit). *Max. 4 people can participate in this tour (min. 2 adults + other adults/infants/children/youths).
What To Expect
Villaggio Nuragico Palmavera
Archaeological site dating back to the Bronze Age (15th century BCE). A village made of 50 huts and the main building, with 2 towers made of limestone and sandstone. You can get inside the tower and walk inside the village.

Necropolis of Anghelu Ruju
Cemetery of the Stone Age, dating back to 4200 BCE. A complex of 38 underground chamber-tombs, with a very unique menhir in the middle of the field.
