Your essential introduction to Central Australian starts with a self guided visit of Alice Springs Desert Park. On arrival, receive a park map and daily program. Stories are shared through interpretative displays and daily guide presentations, many by Central Australian Aboriginal people. Meticulously re-created desert habitats allow visitors to experience desert life as it really is, every day, at their own pace. Highlights include interactive guide presentations, botanical displays, a free flying bird show and the opportunity to see endangered animals in the Nocturnal House.
