Traveler pickup is offered for any hotel or location in Athens. This is a private tour. Only your group will participate. The pick-up time is adjustable upon your request. Your personal driver will pick you up and return you to the same place or to the point you prefer. In case of a hotel, he will be waiting for you in the hotel lobby. In case of an apartment, he will be waiting for you at the entrance of the building. We also offer pickup from Athens International Airport or any Athens port (Piraeus, Lavrio, Rafina). In case of airport pick up your driver will monitor your flight and wait for you in the arrivals hall with a sign with your name on it to start your Tour. We will track your flight and our driver will be there on time. In case of port pick up, your driver will monitor your ship and will waiting for you at the gate, just us you disembark,holding a sign with your name on it start your Tour. What To Expect
Acropolis
The Acropolis of Athens and its monuments are universal symbols of the classical spirit and civilization and form the greatest architectural and artistic complex bequeathed by Greek Antiquity to the world. In the second half of the fifth century bc, Athens, following the victory against the Persians and the establishment of democracy, took a leading position amongst the other city-states of the ancient world. The most important monuments were built during that time: the Parthenon, built by Ictinus, the Erechtheon, the Propylaea, the monumental entrance to the Acropolis, designed by Mnesicles and the small temple Athena Nike.
