El Cedral
El Cedro is a small town in Cozumel famous for its patron saint festivities. In El Cedral is the first church founded in Cozumel by the first inhabitants of this beautiful island. The journey to this small town is very short but full of history and culture. In this small town you will find one of the most visited attractions on the island, it is the famous "jade cenote", a natural karstic cave. that we can visit to know and learn a little more about it.

the "jade cenote", a wild karst cave adorned with stalactites. This cenote is hidden within the jungle and to get to it we must drive on an off-road road and enter the jungle of Cozumel. Upon arriving at the cenote we can find native fauna of the area. The cenotes are not only important for nature but also culturally and religiously for the natives of this area, just as they were for the Mayan culture in the past.
